THE CITY OF MARKESAN'S BULKY TRASH DROP OFF SITE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 26TH FROM 7AM TO 3 PM AND SATURDAY, APRIL 27TH FROM 8 AM TO 2 PM. DROP OFF LOCATION IS THE CITY GARAGE ON SOUTH BRIDGE STREET. PLEASE HAVE PROOF OF RESIDENCE WITH YOU FOR DROP OFF.
NEW 2024 GFL TRASH & RECYCLING SCHEDULE
In 2023, Markesan Water Department tested for numerous contaminants, and no health based violations were found. To view the 2023 CCR (Consumer Confidence Report) click on the green button above. WOOD CHIP MULCH AVAILABLE AT MARKESAN'S RECYCLING CENTER
Residents from the City of Markesan, Town of Green Lake, Town of Manchester and Town of Mackford are able to pickup free wood chip mulch out at the Recycling Center, at N2298 County Road A, on Saturdays from 8-2pm.
CITY OF MARKESAN ANNUAL DEER MANAGEMENT HUNT ON CITY PROPERTY
The City of Markesan offers an annual bow hunt on City-Owned property every fall hunting season. If you are interested in participating, please contact the Clerk-Treasurer's Office by calling 920-398-3031 or stop into the Clerk's Office. An application and a fee of $20 is required by all hunters. There will be a meeting for all hunters that have signed up. There is a limit of 12 hunters.See below for rules and permit policy.
